Exhibition date: [Postponed, a new date will be announced ASAP] @ Plokta Night Mode at ISO Amsterdam: a collective audiovisual exploration of the close relationship between music, moving image and technology.
The 1 Euro Cinema is a small travelling cinematic oracle that will show you a random film in exchange for €1. This machine decides what you will watch… and you’ll either get a bang for your buck with a short documentary or have to quickly enjoy a 1-minute video clip.
As part of Plokta, a new film festival in Amsterdam that unravels the hidden life of technology the 1 Euro Cinema will be on show during Plokta: Night Mode with Panteros666 + more amazing AV artists (03 april) in ISOAmsterdam. jujulove + Telemagic call for all artists with an interest in new media and its societal impact. This version will not only feature films from the existing collection, but will also expand with new films from experimental tool makers, deep dreamers, cyber magicians… and yours?

Submit your film, have it shown across the globe with the 1 Euro Cinema and become part of our artistic network
The following specifications are required for your application:
- Your film was made preferably between 2018-2020.
- Your film is .mp4 (H.264 codec), with a minimum 1080p (16:9) resolution, and is between 1 and 25 minutes long.
- A short biography + contact details in Dutch or English (max. 100 words)
- A short description of your film in Dutch or English, preferably describing its relation to the theme (max. 150 words)
Telemagic is a Dutch collective of spiritual surfers (Cyanne van den Houten, Roos Groothuizen, Ymer Marinus) a lab that tries to make sense of the mysteries that revolve around digital technology. As self-called open medialab, they experiment with the future of media by creating manifestations and artistic interventions. Applications Applications can be sent by email to 1eurocinema@telemagic.online up to 24 April 2020 in a single PDF or text file of size up to 5 MB. Please upload the accompanying video material/or a teaser online to a file hosting service of your choice and include the non-expiring download link in your application email.
